There are a few steps involved before a potential surrogate can be admitted to our
program. First you must meet the potential Surrogate requirements.
Potential Surrogate Requirements:
- Between the ages of 21-38
- Have a healthy height/weight ratio
- Mentally mature and stable
- Successfully carried at least one child to term
- Non-smoker and non-abuser of drugs and alcohol
- Willing to take medication by injection
- Enjoy being pregnant
- Do not receive any form of government assistance
If the above requirements are met, the following steps
will be to:
- Complete and submit the Application
- The Application will be reviewed and a phone interview will be conducted. If the
potential Surrogate agrees to work with GGSCNW an“understanding form” will be emailed.
The consent form will need to be printed, signed and mailed/faxed back to our office.
- After receiving the signed “understanding form “ an in-person interview with the
Director of GGSCNW will be arranged, for the potential Surrogate/partner.
- After the meeting has taken place, the potential Surrogate will proceed to the scheduled
appointments for Medical & Psychological screenings and the Attorney consultation.
- After we receive the results of the screenings the Surrogates profile can be submitted
to potential Intended Parent(s).
